Al Noor Foundation Tarbiyya Statement

“The Nurturing of People in Stages, which Results in Role Models, who bring about Positive Change”

Nurturing in Stages

The Foundation views Tarbiyya as a process of development which starts with the individual, and culminates in organisational change which positively impacts all connected stakeholders and the wider community.

Nurturing individuals plays a central role in this development. It is the Foundation’s belief that such nurturing takes time and can only happen through stages, which can be different and dependent upon the specific qualities of each individual.

As individuals with different strengths and weaknesses, we are all in need of some form or nurturing, each in our own unique way. The Foundation believes this level of nurturing manifests itself through some common aspects or dimensions, which relate to development in the following key areas of any individual:

  • Spiritual
  • Moral
  • Intellectual
  • Physical
  • Interpersonal
  • Cultural
  • Social

Producing Role Models

Producing Role Models is therefore a key outcome of the Foundation’s nurturing process. The Foundation expects all of its stakeholders to develop holistically into improved human beings, who are able to demonstrate positive behaviour in different aspects of their lives.

Impact through Positive Change

Positive Change is something which the Foundation views as another key outcome of its development process. The Foundation aspires to see such change within the wider community. Examples of positive change are evident within our website, and the projects we have launched we have a lasting impact on the community we reside in.

The Role Models which we help develop whether they are trustees, staff, students or parents, are ambassadors of this Positive Change.
