Support your local school

Al-Noor relies upon dedicated people, like you, who show commitment, eagerness, a belief in the aims of this project and a can do attitude, this is fundamental so, how can you help?

Here are some suggestions:

  • Get your family friends and own friends interested in this project
Family friends are like family. Give them the leaflets to read and get them involved. If you have a large family gathering and would like one of the brothers (or sisters if that is more relevant) from the school to come and make a small presentation then please do This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will arrange something suitable for your gathering Insha Allah. We have all the necessary audio- visual equipment to provide the right impression Insha Allah.
  • Speak to your local masjid members and the Imam
Try to get them to support this project and to use their influence in encouraging the community to do so likewise. Why not ask your Imam to talk about the importance of muslim schools in the UK and increase the awareness of this need?
  • Speak to your local businessmen
We need their financial aid/sponsorship, input, promotion and willingness to support this project. Should they show keenness in helping the community and they would like a business presentation to be made to them then we have the ability to do so and would be happy to advise accordingly.
  • Keep in regular contact with the project team
The easiest way of keeping in touch with the project is by subscribing to our electronic mailing list.
  • Do regularly check the website for updates and upcoming events.
We need your input and feedback.

The following are some ideas that you may feel beneficial and could be developed for fundraising purposes Insha Allah:

  • Cooking sessions/parties for sisters
Why not have a gathering of sisters who get together and produce various dishes and all proceeds again going to Al-Noor? Better still, why not have an international dishes gathering? We have Muslims from all over the world and each have their own delicacies.
  • Auction sales at events
Do you have something valuable you would like to give away for charitable purposes? Al-Noor often organises events and bazaars where we auction items, and all the money raised goes to Al-Noor. If you have an item you think we would like to donate for our auctions, please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
