“Give due respect and regard to your children and decorate them with the best of manners” (Abu Daud)
(Believers are) those to whom people said, "The people have gathered against you, so fear them." But that merely increased their faith and they said, "Allah is enough for us and the Best of Guardians." So they returned with blessings and bounty from Allah and no evil touched them. They pursued the pleasure of Allah. Allah's favor is indeed immense. (Surah Al ‘Imran, 173-174)
“O my son! establish regular prayer, enjoin what is just and forbid what is wrong; and bear with patient constancy whatever betide you; for this is firmness (of purpose) in (the conduct of) affairs” (Surah Luqmân:17)
Say: He is Allâh, (the) One. Allâh the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He begets not, nor was He begotten; And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him. (Surah Al Ikhlas)
"The only reason I have been sent is to perfect good manners." (Bukhaari)
“someone with a clear, distinctive and specific vision of a future development, and is able to plan for it in a suitable way”
"And what is the matter with you that you spend not in the cause of Allah? And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth."(Surah Al-Hadid: 10)
“Allah is more deserving than other people of shyness.” (Abu Dawood)
“able to convey their ideas and emotions in a way that other people understand”
“ability to create something new, unused or original”
“able to contribute towards a community, a group, a project or a task, in order to achieve something where his or her benefit can be realised”
“The condition of a believer is a wonder, it is all good. Only the believer enjoys this situation. When he enjoys good fortune, he thanks Allah and this benefits him. When he undergoes afflictions, he patiently endures it and this is also good for him." (Muslim)
“the ability to adapt to stress and adversity, and return to a good position after experiencing difficulty”
“I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who made his character good.” (Abu Dawood)

Application Procedure

The number of applications we receive per year greatly exceeds the number of available spaces. We accept a fixed number of pupils per year and this is done in accordance with the school’s admission policy.

We are pleased to announce we will be having a new Reception class intake for September 2017- 23rd December 2016 is deadline!

Please read this information carefully to ensure that your child’s application is processed promptly and efficiently:

  • Please download an application form HERE
  • Please complete the form in clear, legible handwriting, ensuring you have signed and dated it in the correct place.
  • Post the completed form to the school address - Al-Noor Primary School, Newton Industrial Estate, Eastern Avenue, Chadwell Health, Romford,  RM6 5SD
  • Please ensure to provide application forms with a copy of a full birth certificate
  • The deadline date for applications for reception intake for September 2017,  23rd December 2016 is deadline
  • Once your application has been received, an acknowledgement card will be posted to you detailing a reference number that should be quoted in all correspondence with us regarding your application.
  • Our main intake is for one reception class in September of each year. You must submit your application (for a child of the correct age for admission) between April and December of the year preceding admission to a new reception class, for your application to be considered for it. You will then hear whether or not your application has been successful in the February of the year your child is due to begin school insha’Allah.
  • If you have applied for a Reception place after our intake for September has been admitted, or for a place in another class, then your application will be placed on our waiting list for the appropriate class and will be considered should a place arise.
  • During our routine admissions period for the new Reception class intake, we will invite those scoring the highest number of points for an interview. They will also have an opportunity to take a look around the school at this time.

How long is the waiting list?

There is a waiting list for each class. These do tend to be quite lengthy but are not ordered by date of application. Application forms are vetted by our selection criteria and their position on the waiting list of a class is determined by this.
