E-Safety

Welcome to our e-Safety page. Here you can find information about e-Safety at Al-Noor Primary School and e-Safety advice and resources for parents!

At Al-Noor Primary School we teach internet safety as part of our Computing Curriculum. We encourage and role model safe use of internet at school and at home through helpful tips and reminders.

Pupils at our school are also encouraged to speak to their parents, or the e-safety co-ordinator if they have any e-safety related concerns.

The level of technology our pupils have access to is growing daily and the risks that they are exposed to are shocking. As a school we strongly recommend that parents sign up to https://h2bsafetycentre.com/ which is a very well informed and up to date website dealing with e-safety and supports various stakeholders such as schools, pupils and parents. The website hosts lots of much needed information, easy step by step guides for various apps and games, privacy and safety settings, blocking and reporting.

You can also visit http://www.vodafone.com/content/digital-parenting/learning-and-fun/digital-parenting-magazine.html# to read the Digital Parenting Magazine produced free by Vodafone, which has some useful articles to help inform and support you in parenting

Below are some helpful resources to support you in developing internet safety awareness in your children. Keep a lookout in Jumuah Notices which will include some helpful updates and advice from time to time.
