The Al-Noor Family Funday is an action packed Funday for all members of the Muslim and non Muslim family. We have everything from Bumper cars, exciting and thrilling funfair rides to the gentlest of bouncy castles we even have activities for the very young. Something for everyone!

Our first Funday was hosted at Melbourne Fields, Valentines Park, Ilford Essex, IG1, on the 18th July 2004. What originally started as a simple day out for the family has grown over the years into the legend that has become the most well known and attended Family Funday inside London.

This year we will host our 6th annual Family Funday, Insha Allah. We hope this year will be just as exciting and enjoyable as past years. Bigger and better, every year, that’s our aim!

The total revenue raised from the event to date has excelled over £250,000, each and every penny of it, goes to the growth of Al-Noor Muslim Primary School.

Over 9000 visitors attend the event at the same venue every year, enjoying the delicious food, smoothies and general mingling and family atmosphere of the day which is set around Islamic parameters. Dress code is deliberately marketed as modest.

The concept of the Funday has really caught the imagination of the Muslim community and many other Funday’s are now popping up all throughout the summer, however I think you will agree, there’s nothing quite like the atmosphere of Al-Noor Annual Family Funday.

It really is a day when the community from every background, colour and creed get together and celebrate their unity as Brothers and Sisters united in their common belief. The Funday is also well attended by non Muslims too, showing admirably that we as a community are well integrated locally.

It is an opportunity for our Sisters and youth to partake and witness an event that genuinely gives them an active involvement and access to enjoy themselves.

It is an opportunity for local and national Muslim businesses to promote themselves to a whole specter of their target audience, as well as sponsoring the event.

It is an opportunity for the smaller local Muslim business to directly sell their merchandise through our stall areas, which are in huge demand. It is chance for the Muslim family to pick up good Islamic products, which they may not normally have access to.

Most importantly it is chance for Al-Noor Muslim Primary School to project its professional attitude of excellence in everything it attempts, to raise funds to further enhance the growth of the Trust, to unite Muslims and give them all a really enjoyable day out.

All this is only possible firstly by the permission and Tawfiq of Allah swt and secondly by your attendance and participation on the day.
