Al-Noor and NUIPS hold friendly football match
On the 18th December 2005 Al-Noor hosted a number of friendly football matches against Noor-ul-Islam Primary School, Leyton. The half day event was held at a local leisure centre and consisted of four matches. The fifth game was between adults and allowed the governors and fathers to demonstrate their football skills!
In total 40 boys from both schools participated. The event concluded with addresses from both headteachers of the school and an award ceremony for all the boys.
This was a most beneficial event and we pray that it serves as a springboard for future collaboration between Al-Noor, NUIPS and other primary schools. We would like to thank NUIPS for their help and co-operation on the day.
