Akiff : "We made a Kaa’bah in our class with black tissue paper and I had a lot of fun sticking it together."

Hassan: "I like Al-Noor and how we play with toys and do our work."

Yunus: "I like Al-Noor because it is a Muslim school."

Safa : "I enjoy the Arabic lessons because the Ustaadh plays good games with us and we get gold stars if we do well".

Zeeshan: "I am enjoying practising for the Ramadhan play. I like play times because the caretakers and teachers take good care of us. I like my new school better than my old school".

Zayd: "We painted a picture of the Kaa’bah and it was a lot of fun. I have seen the Kaa’bah in real life but I could not touch it, because there were too many people".

Tasnim: "Next week is Eid and I am very excited about the Eid Party on Friday at School. I like coming to Al-Noor because I like reading the Qur’an. We are going to have a hajj spelling test and I have been learning the words in my head".

Ijaaz: "Al-Noor is fun to learn. PE is good for us. I like art because it is fun. I like Arabic and playing with my friends."

Usamah: "I like Umm Aaminah. I like Al-noor because everybody is friendly. I like my teacher because Umm Sumayyah is kind to me. We learn about the Qur’an and the Ummah."

Mohammed: "I like the teachers, because they teach us lots of things. I like my friends because Taalib plays with me sometimes. Ustaad Abu Musa makes me laugh."

Sana: "My best friend makes me happy. We learn about the deen. I like my teachers."

Hafsa: "I like PE because it is fun. I like Al-Noor, it is nice. I asked my friends if I can play. Everyday we give salaams."

Taalib: "I love my teacher because she teaches me science. I love my teacher because I like doing Arabic. My teachers are kind. I love my teachers because they teach me how to be a good muslim."

Hajra: "I like my teachers. They are kind to me. My friends play nicely."

Yacine: "I like my school. I like my teachers because they make me happy. I like my school because it makes me happy."
Year 2

Azib: "I like praying at the school."

Miriam: "I like the literacy lesson because I like to do literacy ¯ its really nice."

Quotes: Year 3
Khadijah: "I like Al-Noor because the teachers are nice. And I have friends. And the classrooms are colourful. Our classroom is purple. And our lessons are fun and exciting. We have assembly on Thursday and Monday and I like my teachers because they are kind."

Neesa: "I like Al-Noor because it is a muslim school and we learn lots about Islam. We have exciting assemblies."

Saima: "I love Al-Noor because we learn about the Prophet Muhammed (sallalahu ‘alaiaha wa sallam) and about Islam."

Safi: "I love Al-Noor because we have golden time, we play football, sting ball and girls don’t get to play. We get our own trays and we learn Qur’an, Arabic and Islamic History."

Luqman: "I like Al-Noor because there are really good teachers and it its really big. We always pray dhuhr salah. Our teachers are really good and they teach really good in year 3."

Tasnim: "I think this school is very special because all the girls wear scarf and we learn Arabic, Qur’an and Islamic History. I like all the people in my school and I like my teachers. Everyone in the class is very kind, grateful and we are all brothers and sisters. We all pray upstairs in our Mosque."

Husayn: "I like Al-Noor because we play football."

Hafsa: "I like Al-Noor because everybody is nice. The teachers are kind . Al-Noor is special because it is a muslim school. You can make lots of friends at Al-Noor."

Zayd: "I like Al-Noor because it is a muslim school. The teachers are kind. When it is golden time, Ustaadh plays football with us. At break times we play sting ball with Ustaadh. We have PE every Thursday. Ustaadh teaches us Qur’an, Islamic History and Arabic. Umm Zeeshan teaches us Literacy, Maths, History Geography, PHSE and Art."
