These generous donations have helped Al-Noor to be established as an independent muslim primary school and has played an invaluable role in inspiring and encouraging those more closely involved in the project. We have raised an astonishing £1,000,000 which has almost been entirely donated from the local muslim community. Jazakum Allahu khairan for your efforts.

At present the Al-Noor project has reached its final stage of development. We now require your assistance to help us complete this final phase of works to enable us to provide a complete programme of study for our children at Key stages I and II (ages 4 to 11).

Below are the main proposed building works:

• The Construction of three new classrooms
• The extension of an existing classroom to accommodate 25 students
• A second staff office
• A Multipurpose hall
• The Installation of a new lift
• Additional storage facilities
• 1 girls WC facilities
• 1 boys WC facilities
• The extension of our IT suite

For all of the proposed changes we once again need your help. We must raise £438,000 by April 2006. Please make du’aa for us and donate generously.

My dear brothers and sisters education is a concern not only for our children, but for all of us who form part of a community. By donating to our schools we directly influence the way society is shaped, and we will receive its benefits from Allah both in this life and the hereafter, inshallah. "Who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan, then (Allah) will increase it manifold to his credit (in repaying), and he will have (besides) a good reward (i.e. Paradise)." [57:11]
